FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to a method for artificial insemination of sheep and goats. Method involves selection of sheep and goats with the help of male samplers, intrauterine insemination with frozen sperm. Selection of sheep and goats in state of extrusion with the help of male samplers is performed twice day every 12 hours. Intra-uterine insemination with frozen sperm is performed with the help of a syringe-catheter in amount of 0.05 ml with content of 20 × 106 movable spermatozoa in 13–16 hours after sampling. Sperm introduction point is an outer curvature of the uterine horn, from the ovulated ovary, with indentation of 3-4 cm from the bifurcation.
EFFECT: use of the invention will make it possible to increase the sheep and goat impregnation efficiency.
