FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method for determining an optimum dose of a second nitrogen fertilizer for winter cereal crops includes determining nitrogen content in plant biomass from the surveyed field, wherein the value of specific biomass of agrophytocenosis (APC) is further determined, and also take into account: amount of precipitation, which fell in March of current year, value of planned yield, dose of first nitrogen fertilizer carried out on surveyed field, content in soil of same nitrogen field of exchange ammonium (N-NH4 in 0–20 cm layer), movable phosphorus (P2O5) and exchange potassium (K2O in layer of 20–40 cm).
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase accuracy of determining the optimal dose of second nitric fertilizing of winter cereals based on weather conditions, APC state, effective soil fertility and planned crop capacity.
