FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: device includes a rectangular cross-section casing the surface of which is coated with a layer of heat-insulating material, a transporting working element installed inside the casing, a loading hopper, an unloading opening and heating elements. Conveying working element is made in the form of two drums interconnected by flexible perforated belt. On the lower side of the upper section of the flexible perforated belt there is a plate which is made perforated on the loading hopper side. On the lower side of the plate under perforation there is a reservoir equipped with a drain branch pipe, the lower end of which extends beyond the casing. Heating elements are installed on lower side of plate from vessel to drum located near unloading opening. Above the upper section of the flexible perforated belt, at one level on the spring-loaded posts in parallel to each other and perpendicular to the direction of the flexible perforated tape movement, shafts are installed with possibility of rotation. On the lower side of the lower branch of the flexible perforated strip there is a cutter above the discharge opening, wherein the upper edge of the cutoff is located at a minimum distance from the flexible perforated belt.
EFFECT: invention ensures beetroot pulp drying.
