FIELD: insulating materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to self-glued insulating products based on mineral wool and a method for production thereof. A method for production of self-adhesive insulating products based on mineral wool, involving: (a) forming mineral fibers by centrifuging molten glass or molten rock, (b) spraying on mineral fibers, immediately after formation thereof, a first liquid organic binder composition, (c) forming a web of mineral fibers coated with a first liquid organic binder composition, by feeding onto a conveyor, (d) coating one side of the mineral fiber web with a facing mat of glass fibers or organic fibers having high heat resistance, (e) heating the mineral fiber web coated with the facing mat, in a drying furnace for a period of time and at a temperature sufficient for curing of the organic binder, (f) application of self-adhesive material on face side of facing mat. After step (c), the second liquid organic binder composition is applied on the mat and/or on the side of the mineral fiber web to be in contact with the facing mat. Second liquid organic binder composition preferably contains components, capable of reacting with components of a first liquid organic binder composition.

EFFECT: technical result is reinforcement of cohesion of outer web.
