FIELD: mobile devices with flexible displays.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mobile devices with flexible displays, namely to control of antennas of such devices. Mobile terminal includes a housing and a flexible display screen located on the housing. Flexible display screen is configured to switch between the unfolded state and the minimized state. Main antenna is located in the housing, and the backup antenna for replacing the main antenna is located on the edge of the flexible display screen. Method includes: switching main antenna into operating state and standby antenna into idle state when flexible display screen changes into collapsed state; and switching the main antenna into a non-operating state and the standby antenna into the operating state when the flexible display screen changes to the unfolded state.
EFFECT: enabling compensation of reduced characteristics of the main antenna caused by changes in operating conditions, reducing the effect of structural change of the mobile terminal on the conditions of transmission / reception of the antenna, to maintain stability of the antenna characteristic and even to increase antenna characteristics by arrangement of a backup antenna on the edge of the flexible display screen.
