SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structural elements of mobile devices, specifically to antennas, which are used in a mobile terminal with a flexible display screen. Mobile terminal including housing and flexible display screen arranged on housing, which is configured to switch between unfolded state and minimized state, comprises antenna module of millimeter range arranged on edge of flexible display screen. Expanded state of the screen is the state in which the flexible display screen is turned to the first area, and the folded state is the state in which the flexible display screen is folded to the second area. First area is larger than the second area. Method includes transfer of a millimeter range antenna module to a non-operating state when the flexible display screen is in a folded state, and the millimeter range antenna module is switched to the operating state when the flexible display screen is in the unfolded state.
EFFECT: technical result is solving problem related to lack of space in flexible display screen for arrangement of antenna modules of millimeter range due to use of expandable area of flexible screen for their arrangement, which enables to create suitable operating conditions for the antenna module of the millimeter range and does not take up space inside the housing.
