FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: intelligent system of maintenance for an aircraft comprises a network divided into a protected area, called an avionics zone, and an open area. Avionics zone contains the first computer, open zone contains the second computer interacting with the first computer through unidirectional communication line. Open zone comprises a program module with a mathematical model of the aircraft equipment included therein, which is configured to enter faults therein, compare its state with a failure received from the first computer, or a record in the on-board log. Program module of the second computer is configured to create a failure log and to rank failures according to the occurrence frequency in a certain manner.

EFFECT: reduced time for searching for failure causes.
