FIELD: metal forming.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to metal forming, particularly, to production of seam pipes from thick metal sheets on a pipe-forming press. Metal sheet lying on lower tool, applying bending force by means of upper tool, made with possibility of lifting and lowering, is progressively deformed into seam pipe, having longitudinal edges located opposite to each other with gap for subsequent welding of longitudinal seam. Besides, a seam pipe is made, which has a non-round shape of the rough workpiece, for which at least at one bending operation acting on the inner side of the metal sheet on the left and right respectively relative to the middle specified by the longitudinal axis of the upper tool, forming is performed. For each metal sheet, an individual contour is determined, after which using a geometrical model for the right and left side of the seam pipe, determining the angle of rotation and/or length of rotation, as well as the yield point on each side of the metal sheet. Then value of bending operation acting respectively on left and right sides on inner side of metal sheet is determined.

EFFECT: accuracy of pipe geometrical dimensions is provided.
