SUBSTANCE: invention relates to simulation of neural networks, to neurocybernetics and can be used in developing neurocomputers, technical systems based on neural networks, for image recognition, analysis and image processing. Device performs weighted with determined weight coefficients summation of input signals and then converts obtained sum to nonlinear threshold converter in band of rigidly specified range of values from specified lower to specified upper values, wherein if sum is in band, then at output sum is converted to 1, if sum exceeds upper value of band, then it is converted to 0.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of device.
