FIELD: glass industry.
SUBSTANCE: glass sheet processing system for processing a glass sheet comprises a conveyor for transporting a glass sheet in a conveying direction and a positioning device for adjusting the position of the glass sheet on the conveyor. Positioning device comprises moving trolley comprising first and second main parts of trolley. First bogie main part is made with possibility of translational movement in transportation direction and second bogie main part is supported by first bogie main part so that second bogie main part can move in direction, which is generally transverse to transportation direction. Positioning device additionally comprises a first drive unit for movement of first bogie main part in transportation direction, a second drive assembly for moving the bogie second main part relative to the bogie first main part and a positioning member, connected to second bogie main part for contact with glass sheet to adjust glass sheet position.
EFFECT: device and method for positioning glass sheets are disclosed.
