FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: device for detecting abnormalities for stack of containers determines abnormality of stacking in pile (8) of containers on transportation path (10). Plurality of containers (1), each of which is provided with a code display surface (6), on which information on the container is recorded in a fixed position and which is provided on side outer surface of said container, are stacked so that their surfaces (6) of code mappings are located on one and the same side, as a result and pile (8) of containers is formed. There is code reader (12) located nearby transportation path (10), which captures the image of the code displaying surface (6) on each of containers (1) in the pile of containers. Transportation of stack (8) of containers along said transportation path (10) takes place so that surfaces (6) of codes display are oriented parallel to direction of transportation. Readable data from the code reading means (12) are input to the computing processing means (18), which detects—from the read data of each of the display surfaces of codes (6)—the coordinate value of the position of at least one fixed point on each of the display surfaces of codes (6), and from position coordinates values stacking abnormality in pile (8) of containers is determined.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of stacking process efficiency.
