Apparatus for purifying aqueous media from arsenic-containing compounds using a magnetoactive sorbent comprises accumulating tank 1 with a floating cover, dosing pump 5, batch sorption column 2, mixer 3 with mixer, dosing pump 6, magnetic separator 4, loading pump 7, plug-in design Nutsche filter 8, which provides unloading of residue and replacement of filter elements. Storage reservoir 1 is connected by outlet branch pipe to dosing pump 5 and outlet branch pipe of sorption column 2, dosing pump is connected to feed pipes of sorption column and mixer, mixer 3 is connected to outlet branch pipes of sorption column 2 and magnetic separator 2 and inlet branch pipe of metering pump 5, metering pump 6 is connected to feeding branch pipe of magnetic separator 4, loading pump 7 is connected to suction and discharge branch pipes of magnetic separator 4 and feeding branch pipe of Nutsche filter 8, Nutsche filter 8 is connected to outlet branch pipe of loading pump 7 and drain branch pipe into pond-accumulator.
EFFECT: apparatus enables reliable and efficient purification of waste water contaminated with arsenic-containing compounds.
