FIELD: laboratory research.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laboratory installations for testing samples of magnetoactive sorbents for the purification of water contaminated with arsenic-containing compounds and can be used in laboratory practice to conduct research on the purification of contaminated water from heavy metals, radionuclides and other pollutants. The laboratory unit contains a glass reactor 1 with a jacket for the preparation of a processed process fluid with a volume of 500 ml with a paddle stirrer, inlet and outlet nozzles, hatches for loading and unloading the magnetoactive sorbent and a valve. Peristaltic pump 2 is made with two suction nozzles and two discharge nozzles. The magnetic separator 3 contains a glass container 7 with a lid 12, on which an insulator 8 is glued, made of waxed dense cardboard with a thickness of 0.3 to 0.5 mm, two inductors 9, wrapped with a copper wire with a diameter of 0.3 mm on the insulator and fixed pin with varnish, coil diameter 100 mm, height of each coil 50 mm (80 turns each coil), length of one coil 0.35 m, length of coil wire 28 m. to the supply pipe of the magnetic separator 3, the peristaltic pump 2 is connected by the suction pipe to the outlet of the magnetic separator 3 and to the inlet of the tank for purified water.
EFFECT: said laboratory installation makes it possible to effectively select samples of magnetoactive sorbents for the purification of wastewater of various composition contaminated with arsenic-containing substances from arsenic anions using magnetic separation of the "sorbent-pollutant" conglomerate with an arsenic content of less than 0.05 mg/l.
