SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dog breeding. Method for increasing motivation to work in a service dog provides that, in the process of tempering or working a dog, the dog is periodically given a smell of a strong-smelling food product, applied on the object used for tempering or searching, in the form of meat and meat products smell simulator, smoked products, bakery products, fish and seafood.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing of dog operation time and interest in operation without overfeeding and fodder consumption increase.
