FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanisms for opening multi-section structures, mainly space vehicles. Device comprises spring-loaded lever (1), one of arms of which is grip, holding one of sections (3) from opening. Stiff rod (5) is hinged to the other arm of the lever. Second end of the rod is hinged to bracket (6) installed on same section (2) as the lever. When thrusting on stop (7), bracket (6) moves and through rod (5) moves lever (1), disengaging it from axis (4) and releasing retained section (3).
EFFECT: technical result is increased allowable dimensions and weight of opened multi-section structures.
