FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the engine building. Bi-directional hydraulic lash adjuster of desmodromic drive (hereinafter BHA) comprises displacement element (12) arranged movably inside housing (14) of BHA with presence of primary cavity (15) between displacement element (12) and said housing (14) of BHA, as well as adaptive spring (17). Besides, it is characterized by possibility of resistance to compression load along direction of mobility of said displacement element (12) relative to said housing (14), due to pressure of working liquid compressed in primary cavity (15). Also, it is characterized by possibility of resistance to tensile load along said direction and possibility of compensation of lashes of said desmodromic drive due to automatic change of BHA size in specified direction. BHA comprises secondary cavity (16) between displacement element (12) and BHA housing (14) and is characterized by the possibility of resistance to the said tensile load due to the pressure of the working fluid compressed in secondary cavity (16).
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of structure weight.
