FIELD: manufacture of engines; manufacture of four-stroke engines with drive of valve gear via rocker arms (BA3-2101 to 07). SUBSTANCE: proposed device has housing, bush, spring-loaded rod with shut-off valve; edge of rod are rounded-off and diaphragm and flexible filler are additionally mounted in high-pressure area. Proposed construction of hydraulic supports of valve gear rocker arms makes it possible to use camshafts with "wide" valve timing for higher power at high speed of engine without impairing engine parameters at idling. Valve timing and valve lift are controlled smoothly at rise of rotational speed of crankshaft (pressure of oil in lubrication system) due to pliability of hydraulic support rod (hydraulic compensator) at low speed and its immobility at high speed. Device is self-adjustable for definite sizes of valve gear irrespective of their wear and thermal expansion, as well as irrespective of viscosity characteristics of oil.
