FIELD: heat power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used in systems for ball cleaning of inner surface of tubes of heat exchangers, in particular condensers of steam turbines. Ball-retarding grate for system for ball cleaning of internal surface of heat exchanger tubes equipped with circulation circuit of liquid with pressure and drain pipelines is made in form of hollow truncated inclined cone, angle between axis and plane of large base of which is 70÷80° and which small base is connected to the tap. At the same time in the side wall of the above cone there are through elongated holes, symmetry axes of which are perpendicular to the plane of its large base. Ball catching device contains inlet and outlet pipelines interconnected by means of flanges, inside of which there is a ball-retaining grate, flat ring of which is clamped between the above flanges of inlet and outlet pipelines.

EFFECT: increased surface area of ball-retarding grate; reduced hydraulic resistance of the ball catching device; avoiding formation of accumulation of cleaning balls on surface of ball-retarding grate at circulation of liquid flow with cleaning balls through a ball catching device installed on horizontal pipeline; and reduced complexity of providing correct positioning with elimination of gaps of ball-retarding grating inside pipelines of ball catching device during its assembly.
