FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry, specifically to technology of producing silver nanoparticles using vegetal extract as a reducing agent. Method of producing silver nanoparticles involves mixing with a silver nitrate solution of a plant extract to obtain sol by mixing the prepared extract with a silver nitrate solution in volume ratio of silver nitrate solution : extract 5(6):1, treatment with ammonium hydroxide solution to pH 8.0–8.5 and exposure to microwave field at temperature 65–70 °C for 10–20 minutes. Vegetable extract is obtained by heating the plant material at temperature of 80–90 °C for 20–30 minutes, exposing it to ultrasound for 10–15 minutes and filtering or dissolving the dry extract to water. Extract is produced of crushed pomace of black chokeberry fruits by mixing them with water at ratio of (1–5):100.
EFFECT: provides for shorter duration of synthesis of silver nanoparticles, which reduces power consumption and reduces the cost of producing silver nanoparticles.
