FIELD: personal protection equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to regenerative cartridges of rebreathers on chemically bound oxygen intended for protection of respiratory apparatus in an emergency situation. Regenerative cartridge comprises a housing in which there is regenerative product (2) in form of granular potassium superoxide, starting device (3) containing enclosed starting briquet (4) and ampoule with initiating liquid, and heat and gas distributing device (6). At that, the regenerative cartridge is additionally equipped with an air duct, the body of the regenerative cartridge is made in the form of a shell with mesh partitions and plugs on the ends. Launching device housing (3) is located in the middle part of the side surface of the shell. Heat-and-gas distributing device (6) is made in the form of pack of plates arranged in regenerative product (2) interconnected in middle part and dividing cavity of shell of regenerative cartridge body into segments symmetrically located relative to axis of starting device (3).
EFFECT: comfort of breathing, increased degree of development of regenerative product and increased reliability of rebreather operation due to more reliable start of regenerative cartridge.
