SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for liquefaction of natural gas. Process flow is compressed to first pressure, cooled to first temperature and expanded from first pressure to second pressure that is lower than first pressure. First product is separated from process stream. First product is removed from process stream at second pressure. First product for storage in the form of liquefied natural gas is conditioned. Process flow is compressed from second pressure until intermediate pressure is achieved, which is between the first pressure and the second pressure, and directing the process stream, which is at intermediate pressure, to compression until reaching the first pressure.
EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of liquefaction system.
