SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drying engineering and can be used in chemical, food industry, power engineering and agricultural production. In particular, the invention can be used in processes of producing biofuel or organic fertilizer from biowaste, including manure and litter. Apparatus has a housing, a drying agent feed branch pipe, a drying agent discharge branch pipe, a loading device for wet material input into the apparatus, a gas distribution grid for distribution of the drying agent along the cross section of the drying agent and a unloading pipe for unloading the dried material, according to invention, gas distribution grid is installed at angle of 20–30° to the horizon and is inclined towards the center of the apparatus, coaxially to the pipe for unloading the dried material, a pipe is installed for unloading foreign inclusions from the dried material, as well as large lumps of the material to be dried, wherein the diameter of the pipe for discharging foreign inclusions exceeds the diameter of the pipe for discharging the dried material in 1.5–2.0 times, and the upper end of the pipe for unloading foreign impurities is adjacent to the gas distribution grid, at that, lower open ends of pipe for unloading dried product and pipe for discharge of foreign inclusions and lumps are connected with devices for removal of dried product and foreign inclusions made in the form of screw conveyors.

EFFECT: such design of the apparatus improves reliability and efficiency of the drying process and improves the quality of the dried product.
