FIELD: processing of audio signals.
SUBSTANCE: method of decomposing an acoustic signal into digital audio objects which represent components of an acoustic signal. Method includes steps of converting an analogue acoustic signal into a digital input signal (PIN); determining instantaneous frequency component of digital input signal using digital filters bank; determining instantaneous amplitude of instantaneous frequency component; determining instantaneous phase of digital input signal associated with instantaneous frequency; creating at least one digital audio object based on a defined instantaneous frequency, phase and amplitude, storage of a digital audio object in a database of audio objects. Frequency of said component is determined based on maximum values of function (FG), which for each filter reflects number of adjacent filters outputting value of angular frequency.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the possibility of decomposing the acoustic signal into sound objects having the form of signals with slowly varying amplitude and frequency.
