FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a differential transmission device for doubling the range of ratios between a multistage gearbox and two driving wheels of a vehicle. Device comprises outer housing (10) receiving torque from transmission and distributing it through inner mechanism between two drive shafts of wheels. Outer housing (10) holds inner housing (14), which forms, together with outer housing (10), set of intermediate pinions (19) and control element (30) two-position planetary gear (100), allowing to obtain two separate ranges of gear ratios for driving wheels driving. Inner housing (14) has central cylindrical protrusion (14h) for guiding sun gear (23) of planetary gear (100).
EFFECT: disclosed is a differential gear for doubling the range of transmission ratios.
