FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for measuring volumetric activity of radon in air - integrated track radon radiometers, and is intended for determining concentration of radon in indoor air and in ambient air at given intervals. Essence of invention consists in the fact that track radon radiometer additionally comprises device for movement of dielectric track detector (DTD) inside the sampling chamber (SC) in one of two positions so that when the integral track radon radiometer (ITRR) is switched off, energy of the alpha particles passing through the surface of the DTD is greater than the upper limit of the alpha-particle registration interval for that type of detector, and when "on" - the energy of alpha particles passing through the surface of the DTD is in the range of detecting alpha particles for this type of detector.
EFFECT: technical result is enabling measurement of average volumetric activity of radon during given intervals of time using an integrated track radon radiometer with a closed sampling chamber.
