METHOD OF TREATING TESTICULAR FIXATION ABNORMALITIES IN CHILDREN USING VIDEO ENDOSCOPY Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B17/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely pediatric surgery and pediatric urology-andrology. Testicle is anchored by applying an interrupted suture between a lower bunch of epididymis and a scrotal septum. In the projection of the middle third of the testicle, a temporary traditional suture is applied with capture of all layers of the scrotum. Vaginalis cavity of testis is punctured with needle with external diameter of 18 G at angle 30° in this cavity creating an optical space – "artificial hydrocele" – by introducing 10 ml of normal saline, in which a resectoscope with an external diameter of 9 Ch is inserted through an incision of the scrotum with length of 3 mm, an additional skin incision is made in the projection of the lower pole of the testis, through which a needle with non-absorbable suture material 4/0-5/0 is inserted into a lumen of a vaginalis cavity of a testicle with a suture of the lower ligament of an epididymis under video endoscopic control. Introduced saline is evacuated through the irrigation channel of the resectoscope and one-suture of the scrotum is sutured together.

EFFECT: method enables considerable reduction of traumatism of the operation, complete inspection of scrotum organs, provided marked postoperative analgesia and early postoperative recovery of the child.
