FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to unshaped refractories, namely to ramming refractory mixtures used for lining of blast-furnace foundry chambers. Ramming mixture contains refractory clay, carbon-containing materials and reinforcing components, wherein the reinforcing components used are aluminum oxide, silicon carbide and nitride, with the following ratio of ingredients, wt%: refractory clay 8–28, carbon-containing materials 28–48, aluminum oxide 7–47, silicon carbide 8–28, silicon nitride 2–22. Total amount of silicon carbide and nitride ranges from 15 to 39 %, and the ready mass moisture content is within 2–10 %. Additionally, ramming mixture may contain process additives in the form of ethylene glycol and / or lignosulphonate in amount of 0.1–2.0 % of each.

EFFECT: increased strength properties of refractory mass, which increases resistance of chutes and ensures stable and prolonged release of fusion products.
