FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular to emergency systems, which make emergency landing of helicopters with idle main engine. Helicopter safe landing system in case of accident comprises spare pneumatic motor to drive main propeller at its stop, high-pressure air receiver for operation of a reserve air motor after an accident, reservoirs in which chemical reactions take place with high release of gas to replenish high pressure in the receiver through pipelines connecting the receiver to the tanks. Air actuator is made of high-strength plastic. Receiver and tanks are located in hollows of helicopter body or their functions perform hollow parts of helicopter or hollow skin. Pneumatic motor operation duration is ensured not so much by high-pressure air supply in the receiver as by the possibility of its replenishment from gas release during chemical reaction and supply to the receiver.
EFFECT: provides safe landing of helicopter in case of engine failure.
