FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device for measuring concentration of gas contained in ambient air includes wristwatch (13) containing a clock mechanism, indicators (1, 3, 9) of time, which are visible through glass of housing (13) of clock. Besides, wrist watch comprises at least one sensor (11) made with possibility to measure concentration of gas included in composition of ambient air. Wristwatch also comprises means of supplying an alarm signal when the threshold of concentration of gas measured by sensor (11) is exceeded or exceeded. Device has two operating states: "time count" state and "alarm" state, wherein in "time count" state indicators (1, 1', 3, 9) time is displayed time and sensor (11) continuously measures concentration of gas without its display and without activation of alarm signal. In case sensor (11) detects gas concentration, device switches to "alarm" state, in which indicator (4, 4', 8, 9, 10) displays this measured value, and/or alarm signaling means include an alarm signal normally without time display.
EFFECT: gas measuring device built in the clock is proposed.
