Sole (12) comprises steam chamber (13) for steam generation. Steam chamber (13) comprises hole (13A) located on rear end (R) of foot (12). Unloading element (14) passes from hole (13A). Compartment (17) for collection is formed in unloading element (14) for collection of lime deposits (S) formed in steam chamber (13). Retaining element (16) is located in unloading element (14). Retaining element (16) extends above front end section (P1) of collection compartment (17) to retain lime deposits (S) in collection compartment (17).
EFFECT: present invention prevents lime deposit from the collection section when the steam iron is tilted.
