SUBSTANCE: iron (1) comprising iron sole (2), surmounted by heater (6), and housing (3) with support (4) for mounting iron (1) at time of inactive ironing phases, wherein heater (6) comprises a vapour distribution system including vaporisation (64) chamber connected to scale recovery cavity (80) placed in back of iron (1), wherein said scale recovery chamber (80) has channel (84) for removal of scale, closed by detachable plug (9), access to which is performed on outer side of iron, wherein said channel (84) for removal of scale is located in recess (33A), available on housing (3), characterised by that said detachable plug (9) is fixed by rotation on bracket (83) covering channel (84) for removal of scale, wherein on said detachable plug (9) there is cover plate (91), closing said recess (33A).
EFFECT: disclosed iron with vaporisation chamber connected with scale recovery chamber, equipped with a channel for scale removal.
