SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filter cartridges, assembled filters containing cartridge, which are used in lubrication systems and fuel systems for internal combustion engines and hydraulic systems for powerful equipment, as well as in many other types of hydraulic systems. Filter cartridge comprises housing, structure with filter material in housing and coupling on outer side of housing. Coupling has thread and retains sealing element of housing, has recess for holding seal with radially passing base surface and wall of recess; base surface has a radial length of the base extending from the wall of the recess. Casing sealing element is functionally retained in the recess for retention of the seal. Edge extending radially outward, adjacent to first end of coupling forming recess arch. Rib has length less than 80 % of radial length of base.

EFFECT: invention provides an improved filter.
