SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for purification of liquid. Cartridge for treatment of liquid contains a housing, at least part of which is configured to be inserted into cartridge seat for cartridge through the mouth of cartridge seat. Housing has axis corresponding to intended direction of insertion of at least part of housing into cartridge seat. Front axial part of the body has a side wall comprising a corresponding element of each pair of at least one pair formed by a guide groove and a set of at least one protrusion, made with possibility of its placement in guide groove at insertion of cartridge into cartridge seat, which has side wall, passing in general in axial direction from mouth and containing other element of each pair. Housing comprises annular sealing rim, located at a distance in axial direction from elements of said at least one pair, which is equipped with side wall. Said sealing rim comprises a section extending outward from the rest of the housing, and an additional section protruding generally in axial direction from the front axially outward protruding section. Outer surface of, at least, additional section of sealing rim is one-sided. Said outwardly facing surface is inclined relative to axis with expansion towards outward to its edge, which is distal to section, from which protrudes an additional section.

EFFECT: technical result is providing effective seal of seat mouth, improved assembly and simplified manufacturing of device.
