FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry and can be used in development of multi-layer oil deposits. Method involves selection of a multilayer deposit. Drilling of wells is performed on selected deposit at grid. Well grid is compacted. Horizontal boreholes are located in radial direction. At that, deposit is drilled by vertical wells with distance between wells of 500–2,000 m. Wellhead of each of vertical wells is arranged on separate platform. One of the sites is selected and not more than 20 horizontal wells are drilled in the radial direction from the corresponding vertical well of this site. Horizontal boreholes in productive formation are made with length of 150–1,500 m. In plan these bores are arranged at angle of 10–180° to each other. In the profile each horizontal borehole is placed in the bed with the most efficient oil-saturated thickness. This achieves maximum coverage of formations both in area and thickness. Similar operations are carried out at all sites, by drilling the deposit with horizontal wells in radial direction from the corresponding vertical wells. In each of formations the minimum distance in plan between horizontal boreholes of adjacent sites is 250 m. Oil production is controlled using dual operation – DO between appropriate formations. Procedure for application of DO, on which formations and at what time, is determined by means of hydrodynamic modeling of development and selection of best scenario of development of reserves.
EFFECT: higher oil recovery of multi-layer oil deposit.
