SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of screening antimicrobial agents in a vehicle air conditioning system, comprising measuring growth inhibition of an unpleasant odor causing microorganism, a sample having antimicrobial activity against said microorganism; method for inhibiting growth of an odor-causing microorganism and a method for eliminating smells in an air conditioning system, providing for coating or spraying antibacterial agent on air conditioning system to reduce odors produced by microorganisms.
EFFECT: inventions provide elimination of unpleasant odor by suppressing growth of odor-causing microorganisms in vehicle air conditioning system.
