FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: calcined NaCl salt 0.1–1.6 mm in amount of 10–12 wt% is used as an additive in a rod mixture containing gypsum, which enables dissolution of casting rods in hidden cavities of casts.
EFFECT: providing accelerated dissolution of rods in cavities of casting during its cleaning without deterioration of initial physical and mechanical properties of mixture, as well as high quality of casting due to purity of inner cavities.
