FIELD: foundry, namely manufacture of hollow castings of refractory alloys, particularly castings made by oriented crystallization, mainly vanes of gas turbine engines. SUBSTANCE: sand includes (mass%): powder of electrodinas - (43.5-55.00); dust-like sublimated zirconium electrocorundum - (0.01-0.03); paraffin base plasticizer - (13.0-15.0); the balance - electrocorundum with particle size 5-120 micrometers. Use of powdered electrodinas allows to make accurate-dimension heat-resistant cores. Dust-like sublimated zirconium electrocorundum provides stable sintering process and target strength degree. EFFECT: lowered labor and energy consumption for preparing initial materials of sand. 3 tbl
