FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of porous ceramic materials and can be used in instrument making and manufacturing technology of capacitors of variable capacity, including sensitive elements of gas humidity. Method of producing porous ceramic material comprises preparing a charge by mixing dry ceramic powders with aluminum powder of PAP, consisting of particles of spherical shape, and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) in ratio, respectively, dry ceramic powders 70–25 vol. %, aluminum powder 30–75 vol. % and aqueous solution of PVA in amount of 2–7 % in terms of dry weight of powder mixture. Dried mixture is pressed under pressure of 50–70 MPa, billet is sintered in air for 48 hours at 1395 °C, after which aluminum powder is washed with acid in ultrasonic bath. Initial raw materials used are two main powder components: aluminum powder of PAP-2 grade (GOST 5494-95) and ceramic powder of T-150M, F-58, TL/0 grades.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the creation of ceramics resistant to aggressive acid and alkaline media, with capillaries throughout the inner volume of the article, an increase in the porosity of the material.
