FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of lighting equipment, namely connecting devices for outdoor lighting fixtures, and can be used for quick mounting-dismantling of lamps to brackets and their simultaneous connection-disconnection to electrical part of lighting network. Connecting device for installation and connection of external lighting fixture, consisting of electric socket and electric plug, in which the electrical socket is made in the form of a hollow cylindrical part with a stepped increase of the outer diameter in the end zone and with projecting ribs on the external surface of the smaller-diameter part of the part. In the body of electric socket and electric fork there are channels for conducting conductors from electric contacts to recesses for contacts.
EFFECT: invention provides creation of more reliable, economic and ergonomic connecting device for installation and connection of outdoor lighting fixture.
