FIELD: veterinary science; pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to veterinary pharmacology, specifically to a supramolecular antihelminthic complex for treating and preventing animals in basic helminthiases, including water-insoluble substances of albendazole and tricalabendazole with water-soluble polymers - low-molecular polyvinyl pyridolid-17 and arabinogalactan from Siberian larch Larix sibirica, which is a water-soluble supramolecular complex in form of a solid powder with particle size of 1–10 microns, with the following ratio, wt. % (1:1:49:49): albendazole - 1; tricalabendazole - 1; polyvinylpyrralidone - 17; low molecular weight - 49; arabinogalactan Larix sibirica - 49.
EFFECT: present invention provides obtaining a supramolecular anthelmintic complex characterized by high solubility in water and has a wide spectrum of antihelminthic action against preimaginal and imaginal forms of parasite in 5 times reduced therapeutic dose.
