FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drying devices, in particular, to drying of small-lump materials, and can be used for drying of wood chips, shavings, granulated or chopped wastes of thermoplastics and other similar materials. Multi-section convection drier with waste agent recirculation system comprises vertical shaft with loading hopper and unloading device, divided into sections containing supply and discharge headers and inclined mesh shelves, wherein inclined mesh shelves are fixed on section walls, in first, second and third sections moisture sensors are installed, in overflow holes between sections at outlet of loading hopper and at outlet of last section there are chock flaps, loading hopper is located on housing of upper section of dryer, inclined mesh shelves are made at angle of 20°, in each section there are temperature sensors and level sensors, damper valves are located between sections at the base of mesh shelves, housing of drier is lined with heat-insulating layer, made in form of glass wool, supplying headers with cooling agent are installed in the second and fourth sections, on housing of upper section there is a temperature sensor, drying air system is presented in form of two pressure fans, two supply and one discharge air ducts, wherein supply and discharge air ducts are made with gate valves, system of spent agent recirculation represents a discharge air duct connecting discharge headers with supply head.

EFFECT: improvement of qualitative parameters of the dried material and energy characteristics of the dryer.
