SUBSTANCE: device for positioning the head during photography involves a post capable of telescoping height adjustment, with console, to which is attached a flat arc by means of graduated disc with fixing screw with possibility of rotation relative to post console in range from -90° up to +90°, the flat arc consists of front and rear parts connected by coupling sleeve. In front part of arc, which is easily detachable, frontal stop is located with possibility of its axis movement in sagittal plane along two graduated guides, and by smooth movement in vertical plane. In the back part of the arc there is a sincipital stop with a possibility of smooth movement of its axis in the sagittal plane and displacement in the vertical plane along two graduated guides. Then, on lower bend of rear part, sequentially from top to bottom there is an occipital stop, an occipital arcs and a neck stop. Occipital arcs having an opening limiter in the form of a plate, which serves as support for occipital arcs, provides for their centering and fixation in the required position, are made with possibility of rotation in a transversal plane around auxiliary axes located parallel to the post, with placement of ear bars on arc ends. Neck stop is arranged to adjust its position in sagittal plane along graduated guide and smooth adjustment in vertical plane.

EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy of positioning and reproduction of the same position of the patient's head.
