FIELD: railway automatics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway automatics for controlling train speed. In the method, information on the distance to the train stop point, configuration of the established route is transmitted to the locomotive computer, information on the plan and the track profile, track development of stations, marks of points frogs, boundaries of station and haul rail circuits, on the radio channel from stations adjacent to the haul, information on the number of free block sections is transmitted to the locomotives, taking into account the above parameters, the locomotive computer calculates the permissible train speed for each track point, i.e. speed curve between train and obstacle Vt=ϕ(x), wherein actual speed Va should not exceed permissible speed Vt, optimum speed Vo is calculated by means of computer of dispatcher area taking into account parameters of path and trains, which are transmitted to computer of dispatching areas from stations of train formation, train traffic schedule, actual train situation: ahead and behind trains, dispatcher area computer controls trains movement of its area taking into account incoming trains from adjacent dispatcher areas, and also generates commands to set routes for receiving and sending trains, information from locomotives on their location is transmitted via radio channel to the nearest stations, and then via communication lines – to dispatcher centralization post, where computer is used dispatcher area for traffic control and speed control.

EFFECT: higher reliability of train speed control.
