FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy of non-ferrous metals and can be used in processing of dust of electric-arc furnace (EAF) of ferrous metallurgy. Method of processing zinc-containing dust of electric arc furnaces involves operations of mixing, rolling, adding coke fines, and welsh. Dust of electric arc furnaces is mixed and rolled with material containing aluminum oxide, which ensures addition of aluminum oxide in amount of 8–12 % of content in dust of calcium oxide. Material containing aluminum oxide is represented by wastes from production of zinc-aluminum alloys in the form of zinc-aluminum-containing dross.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain clinker with astringent properties.
