SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of identifying GMOs. Chymotrypsin inhibitory activity (HIA), trypsin inhibiting (TIA) or haemagglutination activity (HAE) is determined, wherein if HIA>TIA or HAE for soya seeds is more than 58 [mg/ml]-1, and for maize seeds is more than 5 [mg/ml]-1, the seeds are genetically modified.
EFFECT: invention reduces evaluation time to two hours.
