SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and biotechnology, namely, to a method for identifying GMO in seeds with a mordant based on phenylpyrrole derivatives. The invention is a method for identifying genetically transformed soy seeds treated with a mordant based on phenylpyrrole derivatives, according to the invention, the activity of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase is determined, while if the activity value for soybean seeds is less than 90 mcm/g, then the seeds are genetically modified.
EFFECT: possibility of identifying genetically modified seeds.
