FIELD: systems and methods of making gaskets for flexible bodies.
SUBSTANCE: method of making a gasket involves providing a first digital representation of a first element and a second digital representation of a second element. First element and second element are made with possibility of connection. Alignment of the first digital representation and the second digital representation takes place in the same coordinate system. Additionally, in this coordinate system virtual deformation is determined, corresponding to at least one representation from first digital representation or second digital representation, and corresponding applied load. Gasket size to be arranged between first and second elements is determined based on virtual deformation. Then, gasket is made with dimensions defined for it.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of manufacture.
