FIELD: mechanical fasteners.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of mechanical fasteners. The method for interference fit of fasteners includes selection of a stamp that applies a force that plastically deforms the fastener to expand the fastener with an interference fit in the hole. Selection of a coating having a static friction coefficient of less than 0.2; and permanently applying said coating to the stamp on a surface that is intended to contact the fastener, thereby ensuring that plastic deformation of the fastener by the force exerted by the stamp results in an interference fit between the fastener and the hole along the length of the fastener of 0.0381 mm to 0.508 mm. The group of inventions also relates to a system for an interference fit of fasteners. Improved working devices include a permanent coating with a low coefficient of friction, which ensures that the plastic deformation of the rivet during installation results in an interference fit between the fastener and the hole along the entire length of the hole.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the design and assembly of parts and provide a high degree of centering.
