FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry, namely to drilling equipment, and is intended for control of position of horizontal wellbore between roof and bottom of reservoir. Device for monitoring the position of a horizontal wellbore during drilling, comprising two units of gamma-ray logging sensors installed in the telesystem casing, one of which is directed. Units of gamma-logging sensors are located in the measuring gamma-module with the communication channel with the telesystem unit and are equipped with an electronic scheme of matching the signals of the telesystem with pulses of gamma-ray logging sensors, containing a control unit, switch for switching power supply to units of gamma-logging, direct-current source, high-voltage power sources, counters of pulses of gamma-logging, microprocessor. Output of the telesystem signals is connected to the input of the control unit, which determines the type of the output signal of the telesystem and is connected to the switch, which provides switching of supply of power to one of the units of gamma-logging sensors depending on the type of the output signal of the telesystem. Telesystem power output is connected with cutting head deflector control system with downhole motor. Sensor units are made directed and located from above and from below diametrically opposite in casing of telesystem installed with possibility of rotation relative to stator of downhole motor and equipped on the side of lower sensor weighting agent for casing orientation under action of gravitation. Deflector is made in the form of rigidly fixed centralizers of the first and second fixed at 28–36 m distance with the centralizer located in between them and movable in longitudinal direction. First of the rigidly fixed centralisers is mounted on the stator in the immediate vicinity of the rotor which rotates the cutting head. Control system is made in the form of a cylindrical housing fixed between the first and second centralizers with reversible electric motors located uniformly along the perimeter, which longitudinal rotors are made hollow with internal thread for synchronous movement of threaded pushers, rigidly connected with movable centralizer for movement in the range of ±1–2 m from initial position. Electric motors are connected via timer with telesystem to receive control signals. Initial position of all centralizers is selected for horizontal drilling.
EFFECT: disclosed device for monitoring the position of a horizontal hole during drilling enables simple, stable and accurate determination of the location of the roof and bottom of the formation when drilling, adjusting the direction of the barrel in automatic mode.
