FIELD: pharmaceutical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a substance for forming drug preparations based on Gramicidin C. Pharmaceutical substance for forming drug preparations based on Gramicidin C, including the last, wherein Gramicidin C is encapsulated in cyclodextrin with subsequent formation of a polyelectrolyte complex with chitosan, with a certain ratio of components. Method of preparing a pharmaceutical substance for forming drug preparations based on Gramicidin C, involving use of the latter, wherein preparing 1 % solution of acetic acid, chitosan is dissolved in it, the latter is mixed with gramicidin encapsulated in cyclodextrin, stirred until formation of a disperse system, solvent is removed.
EFFECT: substance obtained using the method described above is characterized by high solubility of Gramicidin C in water and minimal toxic effect.
